Following a review of statues and monuments under its care, Durham County Council has decided not to take any further action. Your councillors made representations to the review asking that no statues be removed from Durham City Centre

To alleviate staff shortages the garden waste collections have been postponed for four weeks. Collections were due to begin week starting 30th March and will now begin week starting 27th April. Collections will be extended into December.
