Riverbank and riverside litter-pick, Durham City CHANGE OF DATE – now on SUNDAY 19th MAY (not Sat 18th)
Volunteers welcome, giving any time you can manage, starting at 10am, to help with litter clearance on footpaths along the River Wear.
This will support Durham Kayak Club (DKC), who will be out in canoes collecting rubbish from the water and riverside.
Meet at the DKC club house (The Old Corn Mill) on the South Bank of the Wear (opposite the cathedral). Equipment will be provided.
