Durham County Council is planning to clean and protect Old Elvet Bridge following receipt of funding as part of the recovery from covid.
Lib Dem Cllr Rob Hanson said:
“The area will be pressure-washed. Once the cleaning is complete a specialist treatment will be applied that will seal and protect the area. This will make it easier to clean in the future and help to keep it looking cleaner for a longer period of time.”
The works are programmed from the 10 to 14 March. However as they are weather and temperature dependent, there is a possibility these dates may vary slightly.Leave a comment
