Along with local residents we wish to see a 20mph limit for traffic on Crossgate.

We do not believe that it is safe for motorists to travel at 30mph on a residential street on which parked cars have to reverse out across the full carriageway when pulling out of parking spaces.

We are happy to be able to inform you that the county council will be introducing a temporary 20mph speed limit on Crossgate whilst the bus station is redeveloped.

This is good news for the area, and we will do our best to persuade the county council to make the limit permanent.
