Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party has failed to find local candidates for the council elections.

Instead they are putting up candidates from Coxhoe and West Rainton in our area!

Both are standing for election to parish councils in the villages, so will not be able to give Durham City their full attention.

As you will have seen, Labour only appears at election time.

Remember, Labour in Durham has given you:

•  The closure of the Durham Light Infantry Museum;
• The closure of Durham Art Gallery;
• Sacking all our Teaching Assistants;
• Selling off care homes;
• Slashing youth services to virtually zero;
• Ripping up the Durham City Green Belt for expensive housing;
• Putting up Council Tax whilst stashing £1/4 billion away in the bank.
