In response to COVID-19, a project through Durham Rotary Clubs to make face masks for County Durham Foodbank, were so well received, that Rotarians started making them for the wider community.
To date they have made around 400 masks. Cotton fabric and thread have been kindly donated, and clear bags have also been donated by Kite Packaging. Each bag has a Rotary Logo sticker on it.
The masks are free (donations welcome), and can be delivered free to anyone who cannot collect.
Masks can be obtained by contacting Tom Sharples: 07538942129 or [email protected]
If anyone would like to help with this project, by either making masks, or donating cotton fabric, please contact Tom Sharples on email or mobile above.
