Ever since Freemans Quay Leisure Centre was opened by the (then) Liberal Democrat-run City Council we have been keeping a watching brief on the services it provides for local residents and have raised issues with the centre management and County Council.

After being open over 10 years we have been wanting improvements to make it even better for residents and visitors. We need more people to participate in physical activity to improve health and wellbeing.

Richard and David and therefore pleased that the council has listened and that Freeman’s Quay is going to be refurbished and have new equipment installed.
This is great news for our city.
