Don’t forget to vote tomorrow!

by Elvet & Gilesgate Lib Dems on 3 May, 2017

Councillors David Freeman and Richard Ormerod need your help tomorrow (Thursday 4 May) to carry on the work we do.

Four years ago the Liberal Democrat team narrowly won here in the Elvet & Gilesgate division. We can do it again this year, but we need YOUR help.

Since then your Lib Dem Councillors have worked together with local residents to bring improvements to our area. They have held monthly “surgeries” for residents so they can raise concerns, and have delivered a regular “Focus” newsletter to keep you informed.

Cllr David Freeman and Richard Ormerod will not claim any expenses if re-elected, unless we are required to travel outside County Durham on council business.

Time and time again local people have said they are going to vote for David and Richard in the local elections this time because they like the work they do.

Re-electing David and Richard will mean that Elvet & Gilesgate has good local councillors who will look after the area and stand up to the council leadership where necessary.

Please be sure vote for the Liberal Democrats on 4 May. Your vote could make the difference.

* You do not need your official poll card to vote.

* If you need a lift to the polling station please call 07900702335.

* If you have a postal vote and haven’t returned it yet, don’t worry! You can take it to any of the polling stations on polling day.

Please don’t leave it to others – they may be leaving it to you!
